England announce international plans for 2008

The England blind cricket team will be playing two international series in 2008.

In August, England will host the West Indies in a 3 match series and they will be targeting a whitewash against a side they have never lost an international against.

The England v West Indies matches will take place on Saturday August 2nd, Sunday August 3rd and Tuesday August 5th, with the first two tests taking place in Arundle and a venue for the third yet to be announced. Later in the year England will travel down-under to defend the Ashes in a 5 match series in Australia.

In 2004 England beat the Aussies 3-2 in the first and so far only blind cricket Ashes series.

The series will happen during December but dates and venues are not yet confirmed. England will be aiming for a series victory again as they have won the last 3 matches between the sides.

When further details and squads for the series are announced this site will bring you full details.
