The blind cricket world is mourning the death of legendary Test Match Special scorer Bill Frindall.
Frindall (69) who was affectionately known as 'The Bearded Wonder' passed away recently.
He was well known for his amazing command of cricket statistics and he always managed to get his personality over on the programme.
Frindall was a former president of British Blind Sport and always made sure to mention blind cricket on national radio and promoted the Primary Club on TMS, too.
ďItís a tragic loss for the cricket world and Bill will be sadly missed. It seems strange now listening to TMS and not hearing Billís voice every now and then," said Dave Gavrilovic, the Chairman of the British Blind Sport Cricket Section.
